The RAMFast SCSI Card, revision C, was produced by C.V. Technologies that provides a SCSI interface for mass storage devices such as hard drives, CD-ROM drives, and ZIP drives. It uses cache memory and DMA access to to increase performance. It supports up to 8 partitions and allows them to be mapped to other slots for access under ProDOS 8.
The Revision C card has a built-in ROM disk that holds the GS/OS driver and the RAMFast Utilities program, so no driver/utilities disk is required.
The Revision C card has DIP switches for setting the termination power, ROM select, Machine type, DMA compatibility, IIgs motherboard type, ROMdisk disable, and drive search timeout. (The later Revision D card does not have DIP switches. These functions are handled through the RAMFast Utilities or are not required for that card.)
