Marbleaire is the IIgs version of an ancient puzzle game, written using TML Pascal. This was the only Apple II program that I ever got published. It appeared on Softdisk GS #6 in 1990.

From the Softdisk GS instructions for Marbleaire:

Marbleaire is the classic marble-jumping puzzle, brought to life with the magic of GS graphics and sound. Can you solve the ancient puzzle?

HOW TO PLAY MARBLEAIRE

Marbleaire has simple rules. If two marbles are next to each other, one can jump the other, and the jumped marble is removed from the board. The trick is to leave only one marble on the board when you are done. And the classic solution is to leave the last marble in the center - a perfect Marbleaire!

Marbleaire also lets you turn the sound off, and most importantly to the frustrated masses, you can see how the puzzle is actually solved.
