This was the IIGS version of the Crown & Anchor game that I wrote for the 8-bit Apple II. I sent this program to SoftDisk and Uptime but it never got published. It was released as Freeware in November, 2005.

Crown & Anchor GS is a simple dice game that was popular with members of the British naval and fishing fleets (at least according to the book of games that I found the description of it in.) It is played with three special dice which have the four card suits, a crown, and an anchor on each die. You make a bet on one of those symbols and roll the dice. You win the amount of your bet for each die that shows your symbol.

In this version you start with $1000. Use the "Bet" and "On" popup menus to place your bet, then click on the "Roll Em" button. If you accumulate over $32766 you break the bank.

The program was written using TML Pascal.
