AMR SCSI Host Card & D60 Hard Drive

AMR SCSI Host Card

American Micro Research (1989)

The AMR SCSI Host Card was supplied with hard drives from AMR. The card supports two 32MB volumes, which may be two drives or two partitions on one drive. It is designed for use in an Apple //e or IIgs

This card came with the AMR D60 external hard drive, pictured below. This is a 60 megabyte hard drive, which was the largest offered by AMR. The drive inside the external case is a Seagate ST-277N, a popular SCSI drive of the era.

If I remember correctly, this setup cost about $650 in 1989, a little over $10 per megabyte.
